You two, you two are awesome.. but leave me no time to blog! I know its been forever and so many things are happening... but this i wanted to remember.I had a great time taking pics of you guys for Christmas cards, some were funny, some were awful, some were filled with love, some with pure honesty. It was a chore, but they turned out to be awesome, some i will save forever. I love this time of year with you guys, Mikayla.. you are Loving everything about the holidays, you get it so much more this year, and its so neat to watch and experience everything with you... you are a little sponge. Ryan, your such a simple little man, such a blessing, to have a child so amazed with things so simple as Christmas lights, and mommy singing Christmas songs to you. These things bring a big smile, i know its short lived before the i want gifts, i want cookies, i want to see Santa... that I'm remembering to stop and love it. this is a beautiful, wonderful stage in our lives.

Six Months..

Ryan, my boy, where is the time going?! I feel like it has been the blink of an eye and you my son are all grown up. You are not a baby anymore, it makes mom sad and a little happy to, its neat to see the person you are becoming!

At six months:

you like bananas, applesauce, sweet potatoes, carrots, squash, and yogurt... anything i put in your mouth... still nurse 4 to 5 times a day and are working on a sippy
you sleep from about 7 to 10, eat and then sleep till 5 when you come in bed with us to eat and sleep a little more until we get up at 7

you get mad when toys are taken away and cry like something is really wrong!

are vocal! you sing, scream and say dadadada all day long

you weigh 21lbs

you still are a snuggle man and love hugs and kisses all day

are super ticklish

like to sing, clap your feet, read book and chew on everything!

love when you get up and sister gets in your crib to "check you" and you play for a little bit.

Are a mommas boy!

We love Ryan and you are a wonderful smiley part if our little family.

Happy Halloween!

We traveled to Never Never Land this year and picked up the *cutest* peter pan and Tinkerbell you have ever met! You Mikayla, were SO into it! You were running around in your wings practincg flying and kept trying to get Ryan into his outfit ( that Grandma did a great job on! ) All day I kept telling you when the moon came out you could go trick or treating, and you and daddy practiced all day in you little house. You and Emma ( who was our stowed away pirate! ) were adorable going up to every house, no fear and even saying cool! to some of the decorations! You kept checking out your loot, and wanting to eat candy! You guys were out for a whole hour and came home exhausted and ready to give out candy to other kids, you thought it was so cool to see other big kids in their costumes. How fun, Halloween in getting to be so much more fun!

Fun times

We have been super busy, any doing all kinds of cool stuff, and I have had no time to write any of this down!

First off Ryan, my little man,

your first big boy swing outside... i don't think you even noticed, your fingers were much to interesting...mommas sleeping beauty.. i heart this time little dude togetherand yes, rolling down the hill in the park, I'm glad you can sit up now!

ahh yes, the polka.

We went to Oktoberfest... and you K rode on the Ferris wheel with daddy...momma was a nervous nancy but I smiled and blew kisses the whole time, you will NOT get being afraid of rides from me! We got to play by the water and play games and dance, to yes, Polka haha kiddo you loved it! What a dweeb!

We got some pets! A fish and two frogs, whom all are named goldie. weirdo. We are really hoping all the poking and peek a boo doesn't give them a heart attack...

K and Jackson have become quite the little pair, and you call him your best friend.. its super cute watching you two beat each other up and then be bff's again! He is such a trooper playing dress up!

And it begins,

Ever since Ryan has been born, we have been waiting. Its not the kind of thing you talk about, or even really dwell on after you have them... but you are really hoping your kids will become friends. I have watched so many of my friends have two kids, who are just madly in love and its adorable. Ryan's almost five months, and the two of you have been kind of just co-existing. Every once in a while you will play for a few minutes, give good morning and goodnight hugs and kisses or even pull hair just for fun... but haven't really gotten together and played. This is what I have been waiting for... the full on, no set up from mom and dad, just brother & sister playtime. Mikayla has always liked playing peek a boo and this takes it to a whole new level, this laugh Ryan will only give his big sister... so deep and rich. I am bursting with joy watching you two.. so it begins, this beautiful crazy love story between big sister and her little brother.
