where is your happy place?

this, is mine. white river on the white moutians, up north just 3 hours from home. This is where i camped, sometime 2 weeks at a time growing up, where my mom and dad got married, and now where i can bring my munchikes. We spent the day playing in the freeezing water, picking flowers, seeing butterflies, and checking out all the cool critters that live around there. Ryan somehow got the idea that he loved to fish, we wernt sure but he was so right! he fished like a champ with his daddy and couldnt get enough. no fish, but lots of smiles. this is a place i will come every july with my family, smell the wet dirt, feel the mud between my toes, dare everyone to get as far in as possible, and hopefully ( when my kids wont jump in alone) camp for as long as we can handle. i love that when im haveing a hot summer day i can close my eyes and feel this place.

If you have spent any amount of time with MK lately, you know shes..... well, kinda crazy. Shes emotional, spastic, sweet, salty, all kinds of everything. She is a 0 to 60 kinda girl ( not that most 3year old girls are not.... ) and she is a LOT of work for her momma. Some days, she takes more work then others ( again, just like most kiddos ) and this song always makes me and her smile when we sing to each other. She is my crazy girl.... and i wouldn't dream of goin nowhere with out here. She is her mothers daughter... crazy and all.

Buggie, Your second graduation of preschool was adorable... and even made me cry a little.... who is this beautiful big smart and sassy girl walking with her friends to show off all shes learned off on her own in school. You have been talking about the solar system, weather cycle, counting, spelling, the continents, and all kind of big girl things. More importantly you have learned to be independent, be a better friend, be kind and caring, and have a life that is yours.... you are so awesome. Now we get summer, to swim and play and be just us... until next year.... one more year of preschool and then time must stop.... you are just to big.

YOU ARE TWO!! Whoo!!! baby boy, the time has gone so fast. When i first met you ryan, my heart melted... and you still have that effect on me today. You are a snuggle bunny. So so awesome at giving lots of love, hugs and kisses and are in general a sweet kid. You like to keep the peace and share, laugh constatnly and have the best tickle giggle i have EVER heard. You are looking for boys these days, You are surrounded by cute girls... i think it will help your game as you grow up.... but.... dad is worried you like it to much so we have sought out some awesome buff little dudes to be men with. You like swords, guns, dogs, food, sweets, lolly pops, swimming, tv, being loud, playing ball, swinging, dancing, BUZZ! really ry, theres nothing you dont like, you love brushing teeth, are a great sleeper... oh veggies, ya that not so much. you are so friendly, funny and cute i have such high hopes for the man you will become. i love getting to know you everyday, and i know when you are a man, you will still be mommas boy. xoxo beefy.

My BABY is THIS BIG? What the heck.

Can you believe hes almost two? i get that question alot... and looking at this picture... umm ya, look at him hes like a full grown little toddler dude. it feels like five minutes ago we had people comming over to snuggle our newest ferris... oohing and ahhing how tiney and sweet he is and now look at him... holding a sweet new little girlie and talking about her toes and nose and kissing her... umm AWWW!! Little Dude, you are just so stinkin BIG. and guess what, i kinda love it!! i love that we have babies to go snuggle.... and then i get to take my awesome two big kids home!

and you my M, what a sweet big sister you have always been! you love love babies... and no. no more in mommies belly =).

Puppy Love

So... we have been talking puppy around here for a good six months, and although i was super okay with the whole doggie thing.. the puppy vibes kinda scared me... i already have two little ones another one .... really? So, when a friend of mine posted on facebook that her 5year old boxer needed a home with a little more time to dedicate to him... we jumped. Mike has always been a Boxer fanatic... super super awesome except... if you dont train them, really really train them... they will officially take over your life... so, this one... PERFECT! he couldn't have been better trained, loved and adapted to family life and has fit into our family so easily. He a big fan of being wit the kids... okay with all the Love they can give, has made mike work out more than he has in months and is going to be my new running buddy. Hes a sweetie and we cant wait to enjoy him for a long long time to come! Welcome home Tyson!
