We had so much fun this Christmas! I love that Mikay actually gets it, it makes the holidays so much more fun when you love them through a child's eyes. She pulled off the paper, and said " cool " to everything, it was super funny! Santa was good to the little lady, she will be busy!her new baby! mikay needs the practice, and this baby is super demanding, asking to eat, for diaper changes, to go for a walk and to go to bed, and crying if she doesn't get it. Okay so mom gets practice too! Grandpa was proud to get the most annoying gift.... way to go!Do you see the face?!

So my kids an official cheese head. She LOVES the word and if you bust out a camera she goes after the poses like a crazy model! she will even hold a pose while you get a shot and makes sure you say cheese to! I think these pics are so funny, even if they are CHEESEY! =)

Happy Holidays!

Hey everyone! oh my goodness I miss Internet! so we have a had a super busy month and have loved being * home * to decorate and enjoy the season. Mikay is finally into the Christmas thing, she looks at the tree and see OHHHH and even plays with her daddy's scooby doo stocking. We saw Santa and now she can say HO HO Ho, to funny. This is the official holiday card pic from when we went to mikes work party and had be fancy anyways, good time for a photo opp.

we had round two last night and Mikay had so much fun with her cousins, even though they pick on her she wants to be just like them! they are so funny and try to take care of her and she gets so excited when they play the way she wants them too, it will be so neat to see them together in a few years when she can keep them in line! HA! we love our families even though they are a bunch of turkeys!

So ever since Grandma and Uncle Shawn came to visit, Mikay has decided to move out. She gets her bag, comes and kisses us good-bye, waves and goes to the door and yells for Shawn. How funny is it that she can copy cat exactly what they did, and she knows exactly where she wants to go. It kinda breaks your heart huh, one years old and yep, shes all done with mom and dad!

A Year ago today this is how you and mommy hung out,

Now you are a big girl and you and mom can do so many fun things together. You love to go to the park, go for walks, look for birds, dance, and eat sweets with me too! You are funny, independent, and super smart. I miss all the baby snuggles, but love spending this time together, you are one of my favorite people to be with.

Ducks Everywhere!

We had so much fun at a park by our house the other day feeding ducks, and running in the grass. There were so many ducks thanks to the bag of bread daddy brought and it kinda scared her I think! She thought it was so fun to run really fast down the big hills and at one point her body got a head of her feet and this is what happend... poor thing!

BOO!

Mikay was a brave little ducky last night and got mom and dad so much yummy candy! We had alot of fun going trick or treating and loved watching our little duck waddle up and down the street. She had a great time playing with all the candy and wrappers, and even got a few m&m's. The word of the night BOO!

So this kid makes me laugh harder and harder EVERY day! She is so funny these days and I had to share some the beautiful moments we have caught the last few weeks,

The pumpkin patch close to home was a much better hit! Mikay had fun with all her buddies and even got a pumpkin that is just her size! ps, look grandma the outfit FINNALY fits!

Not So much..

So we drove a long ol drive to the pumpkin patch in Wilcox this weekend, and it was kind of a bust! Ugg, it was hot and crowded but we still had some fun. We had some yummy pie ( this stuff is a preggo ladys dream... hot and yummy pie with ice cream... oh my goodness! im so ready to make the drive again just for that! ) and burgers in the apple field, and then went on a hay ride to get some pumpkins, Mikay would not wear her shoes, so she looks like quite the hillbilly in the pumpkin patch barefoot, but whatever its all good!
